I have served rural, urban, and suburban congregations in the United Methodist Church for over 35 years. The majority of my pastoral ministry has centered on congregational revitalization. I have also served as a law enforcement chaplain for over 20 years, and currently serve with the Maryland State Police as the Academy Chaplain. In this role I am currently developing a coaching method to address the needs of law enforcement personel. I have an extensive background in sacred music which enhances my ministry and coaching skills. Since January of 2018 I have been actively coaching individuals and groups in congregations establishing a coaching mindset that has proven to be highly effective for spiritual growth. I live in my childhood hometown of Mt. Airy, Maryland, where my wife and I love to work in our yard, play with grandchildren, and enjoy life with our West Highland Terriers.
